DAY 1 • OSIJEK

Transfer from Osijek airport to your hotel. (on request – transfers from Zagreb and Beograd).

DAY 2 • OSIJEK; WALKING TOUR AND TRADITIONAL DINNER

Breakfast at hotel. You will start your morning with the city tour of Osijek, the largest city in eastern Croatia, beautifully settled on the banks of Drava river. Osijek is famous by its history, architecture, gardens, fish stew, spicy „kulen“ sausage and wine. Evening is reserved for traditional dinner in the local restaurant. Overnight in Osijek.

DAY 3 • OSIJEK; VISIT VUKOVAR AND THE OLD WINE CELLARS OF ILOK

Breakfast at hotel. Today we are going to visit Vukovar, which is the biggest Croatian river port located at the confluence of Vuka river in Danube. A town also known as a symbol of the Croatian war for independence, as it arose from the ashes of the ’90s into the proud city that it is today. Later we will enjoy tasting wines in the old wine cellars of Ilok followed by the traditional lunch. Free evening. Overnight in Osijek.

DAY 4 • OSIJEK; NATURE PARK KOPAČKI RIT

Breakfast at hotel. Nature Park Kopacki rit, also called the European Amazon, is situated in the central part of the Danube floodplain, between two important European rivers, Drava and Danube. This is a unique wetlands reserve, one of the largest fish spawning grounds in Central Europe, and a very valuable ornithological zone. In 2012, the Park was declared as part of the Mura-Drava-Danube biosphere reserve under the UNESCO. Here you can enjoy the gifts of nature, awakened by the scent of wild flowers, birds singing or by walking through oak forests that are extremely rare today. Lunch will be served in the local restaurant, before heading back to Osijek.

DAY 5 • DEPARTURE

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
