DAY 2 • ZAGREB; WALKING TOUR AND EXCLUSIVE WINE TASTING

Breakfast at hotel. Discover why Zagreb is recognized as one of the most vibrant and popular tourist destinations in the Central-Eastern Europe. Sightseeing tour through the city includes the Lotrscak tower, Klovicevi Dvori, Sttrossmayer promenade, Stone gate, Bloody Bridge Street, and many other highlights of this town. After the sightseeing and some free time, we will have lunch in the popular local restaurant.
Afternoon is reserved for the exclusive wine tasting „Croatia in a wine glass“, where we will learn about various types and styles of wines produced in Croatia. Free evening. Overnight in Zagreb.

DAY 3 • ZAGREB; TOWN OF VARAŽDIN AND TRAKOŠĆAN CASTLE; TRADITIONAL DINNER

Breakfast at hotel. It is still widely unknown that Hrvatsko Zagorje is the area with the biggest numbers of castles in the world. Today, we will first visit Varazdin,a town of culture, famous by its splendid churches, town palaces and the amazing cemetery, together with its artistic achievements and cultural heritage. After the walking tour we continue to Trakošćan Castle – the most romatic and the most beautiful castle in Croatia. Free time for optional lunch in one of the local restaurants. Return to Zagreb in the afternoon. Dinner will be served in a well-known restaurant where we will try traditional Zagreb dishes and specialties made by a popular masterchef. Overnight in Zagreb.

DAY 4 • ZAGREB ; NATIONAL PARK PLITVICE LAKES

Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Plitvice National Park, a well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour of the 16 crystal – blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Walk on the wooden promenades with magnificent views on the waters where every turn leads to a breathtaking scenery and yet another waterfall. Surrounded by dense woods, Plitvice lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty. A panoramic boat and train ride will take us back to the start. Enjoy a free evening and dinner on your own in Zagreb.
Overnight in Zagreb.

DAY 5 • DEPARTURE

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
