DAY 1 • Sunday DUBROVNIK area; D
Transfer from Dubrovnik airport, Dubrovnik harbor or another hotel in Dubrovnik to the tour hotel. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik/Dubrovnik area/.
DAY 2 • Monday DUBROVNIK area; Explore Dubrovnik by Cable Car; B, D
Morning transfer to the Pile Gate where you will join excursion Explore Dubrovnik by Cable Car. Departing Pile Square on foot toward the newly open Cable Car Station situated in vicinity of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Upon arrival to the Cable Car Station you will proceed with a cable car to a panoramic view of Dubrovnik from the surrounding Srd hill. From here you will be offered a bird’s – eye view of the greatness of the entire city and especially Dubrovnik rooftops which you will never forget. Upon return ride to the main Station your tour guide will lead you by foot to the Old Town of Dubrovnik for the walking tour. Walking tour will open the doors to you to one of the largest and most luxurious open – air museum towns in existence. The famous Croatian tourist center awaits you, encircled by its monumental stone ramparts, which have preserved and enhanced Dubrovnik’s spirit of Renaissance. You will be awed by the labyrinth of short, narrow stone streets, the market place, palaces, towers, monasteries and houses, each of which is over 300 years old! The old masters understood how to construct a miraculously harmonious stone city. This harmony, simplicity and sense of beauty have through the ages become the basic philosophy of life for the residents of Dubrovnik. Early afternoon return transfer to your hotel. DAY 3 • Tuesday DUBROVNIK area; Ancient Montenegro; B, D
Mild beaches, clear waters and gorgeous mountains that plunge into the sea will greet you upon your arrival to the Gulf of Kotor. Encircled in the mountains, the innermost bays of the Gulf, Risan and Kotor, are the earliest inhabited areas with evidences of civilization dating from Illyrian, Roman and early Christian periods. In our quest for traces and memories of past times, we will be visiting the baroque shore town of Perast. Short boat ride from town will take us to one of the two islets in the Bay to visit the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks which houses one of the finest collections of wall paintings in this part of Europe. In the UNESCO-protected town of Kotor enjoy a guided tour through one of the best preserved medieval walled cities on the Adriatic. And finally, take the opportunity to make your own memories during your free time in Kotor! Upon return dinner and overnight Dubrovnik area.
DAY 4 • Wednesday DUBROVNIK – MAKARSKA RIVIERA; B, D
Morning departure to Mostar, This is a city of poetry, a city of stone and sleepy, narrow winding streets. It is a city where the traveller from the North feels the first dashes of Mediterranean air imbued with scents of citrus and sea and the traveller from the South reaches the first glimpses of the continent beyond. The town is exceptional for its dwellings and monuments assembled harmoniously over the centuries thanks to favorable geographical conditions and a sound economic climate. Experience sights such as the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House and one of the many old Mosques. After the guided tour of the town enjoy some free time for strolling around and browsing among the many old craft shops or maybe have lunch in one of the picturesque local restaurants. Dinner and overnight at Makarska Riviera.
DAY 5 • Thursday MAKARSKA RIVIERA; Split and Trogir; B, D
Split is situated on a peninsula and surrounded by historical towns and settlements. We shall take a walk through the 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace to visit its ancient Cellars, Peristyle, Roman temples (today Christian ones), Cathedral and Baptistery, and then the famous Golden Gate. After sightseeing of the town of Split and free time for individual exploring we start our bus ride towards Trogir, a small town under the cultural protection of the UNESCO. Trogir arose from the ancient Tragurion, and is full of buildings and monuments testifying to its rich history. There stands the Cathedral with its famous portal by the well-known local master Radovan, the City Loggia from the 15th century, the Cipiko palace, the town Hall, and the Benedictine monastery from the year 1064, where a Greek relief is kept representing Kairos (the God of auspicious moment). Dinner and overnight at Makarska Riviera.
DAY 6 • Friday MAKARSKA RIVIERA; B, D
Today is your day for leisure. Optional excursions Krka National Park and Šibenik available on the spot. Dinner and overnight at Makarska riviera.
DAY 7 • Saturday MAKARSKA RIVIERA – DUBROVNIK; B, D
In the morning we are leaving Makarska Riviera for Ploče where we will take ferry to Trpanj on Pelješac peninsula. Getting of the ferry we will continue to Orebić where we will take a short boat ride to town of Korčula, followed by orientational walking tour of town of Korčula. Experience the narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces in one of the best preserved Medieval towns in the Mediterranean. After free time return boat ride to Orebić and scenic ride through Pelješac peninsula with short stop in small town of Ston, before late afternoon arrival to your hotel for dinner. Overnight Dubrovnik area.
DAY 8 • Sunday DUBROVNIK DEPARTURE; B
Transfer on the day of the tour to Dubrovnik airport, Dubrovnik port &hotels in Dubrovnik.
